Windows are the one job almost nobody enjoys and almost everybody notices. We clean interior and exterior glass, along with the frames and sills that make the difference between clean glass and a clean window.

The work Chilton's is best known for started here. It traded as Picture Perfect Window Cleaning from 2002, and it is still how most customers meet us. Houses are not the whole of it. We have cleaned for a Carrollton non-profit since 2015, and commercial glass is on the same list as residential.

North Texas is unusually hard on glass. Sprinkler overspray and hard water leave mineral deposits that go well beyond a smudge: given long enough on south and west-facing glass, the minerals etch into the surface and no amount of cleaning brings it back. Construction dust from a nearby build does something similar. That is the real argument for cleaning on a schedule rather than waiting until windows look bad.

Twice a year suits most homes here, which is our own long-standing advice and the interval we most often work to. Spring clears the pollen and winter grime; autumn clears the dust from a dry summer before the light gets low and every streak starts to show.

Screens and tracks matter more than people expect. A clean pane behind a dirty screen still reads as a dirty window from inside, and grit left in the track is what makes a window stiff to open a few years later.
